Our Story

Walk Where Paul Walked

The Apostle Paul Challenge was born from a simple conviction: faith grows when it moves. We combine physical fitness with Scripture, history, and prayer to create a journey unlike any other.

How It Began

The Apostle Paul Challenge began with a question: what if Christians could experience Paul's missionary journeys not just as readers, but as participants? What if every mile walked or run became a mile alongside the greatest missionary who ever lived?

We mapped Paul's actual routes — from Antioch to Rome — calculated the distances, and built a challenge that invites believers to walk those miles over the course of monthly challenges. Each step is accompanied by Scripture readings, historical context, and prayer prompts tied to the exact cities Paul visited.

The result is something we've never seen before: a fitness challenge that transforms your body and your understanding of God's Word at the same time.

"
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
— 2 Timothy 4:7

Paul's Missionary Journeys

Four epic journeys. Thousands of miles. One unstoppable mission.

01

First Journey

46–48 AD · 1,400 miles

Antioch → Cyprus → Asia Minor → Antioch

Paul and Barnabas set out from Antioch, crossing to Cyprus and pressing inland through Galatia. Churches were planted in Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe before they returned to report to the church at Antioch.

02

Second Journey

49–52 AD · 2,800 miles

Antioch → Greece → Corinth → Antioch

The gospel crossed into Europe for the first time. Paul visited Philippi, Thessalonica, Athens, and Corinth — establishing churches that would receive some of his most beloved letters.

03

Third Journey

53–57 AD · 2,700 miles

Antioch → Ephesus → Greece → Jerusalem

Paul spent three years in Ephesus, the longest stay of his ministry. He then traveled through Macedonia and Greece, collecting an offering for the Jerusalem church before his final return.

04

Journey to Rome

59–62 AD · 2,200 miles

Caesarea → Malta → Rome

As a prisoner, Paul sailed toward Rome. Shipwrecked on Malta, he continued to preach and heal. He arrived in Rome where he spent two years under house arrest, writing letters that still shape the church today.

Our Scripture Foundation

"
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
1 Corinthians 9:24
"
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Hebrews 12:1
"
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Philippians 3:12
